City Place's Success is Our Success

The OC Register tells of how the City Place development is starting to come to life with retail shops and restaurants.

"You could walk out your front door and inside of 180 seconds have a cup of coffee and buy your dinner," developer Bob Bisno said.

McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant is already open. So is The Coffee Bean & Tea leaf cafe, and a Corner Bakery. A Mother's Market is coming soon, and so is a nail salon. Bisno is now working to attract a top-notch pizzeria.
Their success stories keep my hope alive for a one-day vibrant Logan/Rail District.

Yep, it's solid, if the lofts weren't $750k at the time we were looking seriously at buying there. We hoofed it over to CBTL last week and walk with our dog over for breaki at Corner Bakery all the time, it takes all of 20 mins; fastest way to walk to there is to cut through Logan and up via Santiago as it crosses through the Park Santiago neighborhood north of 17th. Beautiful little neighborhood with lots of character and charm. BTW, there is a sushi place on the way as well. Civilization is within reach?

Beautiful lofts and designed by one of my favorite architects, Steven Ehrlich. Perry Farrells' home (Jane's Addiction +
Porno for Pyros +
Psi Com + Satellite Party)
in Venice was also designed by him and it is absolutely amazing...

City Place is having a Xmas Tree Lighting event tonight (Friday) I think 6-7PM.

Refreshements will be served by Corner Bakery, also located in the community.
