Judy Ware has ponied up $ 10,000 to the Yes on Measure D campaign led by Mayor Miguel Pulido and Sal Tinajero.

Madison Material, also owned by Judy Ware, has ponied up 10K more.

If it was not clear before, it is now.

VOTE NO on MEASURE D

Ben,
I would like to point out that Santa Ana's Art Walk is this Saturday. You'd never know it if you read up on the city's communithy calendar. Go ahead.. click the date. Absolutely NO MENTION AT ALL ABOUT THE ART WALK.

The city leadership does not care a wit about the people who work and live in it.
Get used to it.

You have to submit items for the city community calendar. They aren't very good at finding out about these things themselves.

Send an e-mail with the date and a short description of your event to jcarlos@santa-ana.org . Julie works in the community development department and is the community liason for the website.
If you have a pdf copy of a flyer, send that too and ask them to provide a link to it, and make sure if you have a website that it's listed in url format (http://www.????.com) so folks can click it right from the calendar page.
It takes a couple of days or more for the event to appear, so send it as early as possible.

Make sure you send a copy to Doug Irving, (dirving@ocregister.com) the local beat reporter at the OC Register a week or so before the walk. Doug writes most of the daily squibs in the local section, and covers many of our local events.

Hope that helps.
