What are the times for the art walk?

Thanks for letting everyone know about this, Ben.

Didn't the art walk already happen on the first of the month? I'm a little confused. Is it twice a month?

The Santiago Street Lofts community has decided to shift their "Artwalk" to the third Saturday of every month, so there is no competition with the Downtown Artwalk on the first Saturday.

Is there a website with the information for this Artwalk?

Thanks for the list of participants!

Here's a special art exhibit just for you, Ben.

#1, The art walks usually begin at sundown. There are some really talented artists/awesome residents living here. Please come by if you can.

#2, from what I've heard, there's an art event going on every weekend in Downtown.

#3, We'll have a up website soon. The community is voting on a name for the art walk event. Once that's decided, we can move forward with getting content online.

#4, I'm going to hang out in the parking lot after the graffiti exhibit closes and catch "inspired" taggers writing on the walls and glass.

Someone posted this on craigslist:

Every 3rd Saturday night of the month, from 7 PM to 10 PM, there is an Art Walk in Santa Ana, CA across the street from the Train Depot. Here you will see art works by local and not so local artists. Everything from edgie contemporaty oil paintings, to landscapes, to sculptures, water colors, photography and more. This Art Walk is a new art destination in Orange County California. Visit every 3rd third Saturday night.

Ben,
I've been wanting to check this out, my wife and I will be there. I'll post this on the MV blog to see if anyone is interested.

We stopped by. Some of the art was good. We liked the toujour prints on steel and other materials at 712 N. Santiago. We also liked the sculptures at Gallery 675. There were some interesting expressionistic landscapes at Studio 904 (or maybe next door?). And we liked the red Rhino.

Since this was our first time down, we were a little confused. We were not sure where to park, and ended up parking at the train station. We were lucky to find a spot. It would seem that Lofters should put out some sandwich boards to let people passing by know that there are galleries open. And maybe some other signs pointing to the galleries. We would not have found Gallery 675 without the Map.

Hopefully it will keep growing. Cheers!

It was really nice chatting with everyone at the art walk. I truly enjoyed all the exhibits of art. Glad to have meet all the new people living at the lofts. Hope we can do it again soon.

I hope we have the potluck we all talked about soon.
