Tomorrow night, my good friend and talented Jazz singer Dustin White will be taking stage for the first time at Jason's Downtown Restaurant and Wine Cellar located in downtown Santa Ana. Tickling the ivory along side Dustin is his good friend and multi-talented musician Jeff Jones.
The ensemble recalls classic American Jazz and has been influenced by greats such as: Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, and songwriters such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Jerome Kern.
If you haven't been to Jason's yet, now would be a great time to start–especially if you or a loved one happen to have a birthday in the month of February.
The show starts at 7:30PM. Come for the good music, stay for the delicious food.

I was there last night. Nice place. Nice atmosphere. Cool bar.
What a great find! The music was a perfect compliment to the cool location!
i was there too. small world.
Maybe we should all wear name tags next time :P
I was excited to see so many people come out and show support for the band and restaurant.
The success of Jason's is vital to the "rebooting" of downtown Santa Ana.
i'd love to see it succeed, if for no other reason, chains like chipotle don't move in. :-)
Ben, are you going to take that from a goat? I'm going to ask Chipotle to start making goat burritos. Baah-rittos! Hahah! When did I get so funny?

I've been razzed by a bear, a dog, and sheep, but never a goat.
Chipotle currently has no interest in building in downtown Santa Ana...go figure.
I'd definitely like to see more non-chain restaurants pop up around 4th and Broadway though.
Slim, you always were a funny guy to me.
I like the bathrooms sinks.
And the battery powered candles.
and... the seafood crepes too
muy bueno.
